Founder of The George Method™

Carey Ann George is the Founder of The George Method™ — a comprehensive framework for nervous system regulation, flow restoration, and whole-person healing that integrates trauma neuroscience, polyvagal theory, traditional herbalism, and the physiology of the body as an interconnected flow system.

Carey's work begins from a clear premise: most of what gets labeled as chronic illness, mental illness, or unexplained suffering is the intelligent response of a nervous system carrying more than it was designed to carry, in a body whose foundational flows have been impeded by modern life. She built The George Method as the practical answer to that premise — a sequenced, foundational approach that restores regulation at the nervous-system level first, then rebuilds the body's flow capacity across every system that depends on it.

The framework spans the full 31-day George Method curriculum (teaching deliberate access to the theta-gamma corridor state), the Blueprint (a triage reference for any dysregulated state — panic, dissociation, flashback, grief, shutdown), the educational body of work on trauma as biology rather than pathology, the physiology of flow restoration across the body's fluid systems, and the foundational ritual practices — including her formulated Sole Recharge foot soak — that bring the framework into daily life.

Drawing on more than two decades across business development, human behavior, health education, and transformational work, Carey synthesizes what most fields keep separate: the neuroscience of trauma, the wisdom of traditional medicine, the mechanics of cellular and lymphatic flow, the role of light, sleep, movement, and connection in human function, and the lived reality of survivors trying to find a way back to themselves. Her training spans naturopathic health, mind-body medicine, psychosomatic pattern recognition, behavioral transformation, nutrition, and stress physiology — but her work is shaped as much by direct observation of what actually heals as by any single credential.

She is known for taking subjects most practitioners describe in jargon and rendering them clear. Her writing meets readers where they are: a survivor in the middle of the night reaching for a triage guide, a practitioner looking for the framework underneath their clinical work, a person who has been told for years that something is wrong with them and is ready to hear a different story.

Her central conviction shapes everything she builds: the body is not broken. It is responsive, intelligent, and built for repair. Given the right conditions — regulation, flow, light, sleep, real food, real connection, and the foundational practices that have always supported human thriving — it returns to what it was always meant to be. The George Method is the architecture for creating those conditions.

She works with clients, students, and practitioners through the George Method curriculum, formulates the foot soaks and other foundational products through Beyond O2, and teaches the framework through writing, programs, and direct mentorship for those ready to do the deeper work.
